This role is critical in harnessing the power of big data within the financial sector, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. What you will be responsible for As Data Lake Technology MD you will · Lead the development and execution of the data lake strategy, aligning with the firm's overall business goals. · Manage the integration, storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets from diverse sources. · Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for data security and privacy. · Collaborate with IT teams, data scientists, business analysts, and external partners to enhance data functionalities and support business initiatives. · Oversee the implementation of robust data governance frameworks and data quality management practices. · Provide strategic advice and technical expertise to senior management on emerging data technologies and data management practices. · Drive innovation through exploratory analysis and experimental design to identify new business opportunities and improve operational efficiencies. · Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures, ensuring optimal performance of the data lake. · Manage budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation effectively, delivering projects on time and within cost constraints. · Mentor and lead a team of data professionals in achieving excellence in data management and analytics. Deep familiarity of the State Street technology landscape will be a strong plus. · Experience being part of a business vertical will be highly desirable. · Proven expertise in managing large-scale data infrastructures and complex data integration projects. · Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks relevant to the financial industry. · Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving team performance and engaging with senior stakeholders. · Experience with cloud-based data solutions, big data technologies, and industry-standard ETL tools. · Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data-driven insights into strategic actions. Salary Range:
$175,000 - $287,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
