Application Development/Maintenance (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, MA): (a/k/a
Software Engineering & Development) Will leverage experience with JavaScript, CSS, React.js, Typescript,
and related technology stack to support State Street’s proprietary platform. Specific duties of the
position include: Utilize core Web UI technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS; Demonstrate
experience with expert-level knowledge working with React.js, TypeScript, Redux, Sagas, and the related
technology stack; Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using
react concepts; Demonstrate experience with in-depth knowledge of Node.js and server-side
frameworks, such as Nest and GraphQL; Perform JavaScript-based unit testing and demonstrate
knowledge of the frameworks using Jest and Enzyme, react-testing-library; Build meaningful
visualizations on the web; Apply experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing
software; Demonstrate craftsmanship in the performance of the assigned technical job duties;
Demonstrate backend experience with Java, JEE, and Oracle; Perform proof of concepts for the look and
feel for the Web screens and architectural flow; Work on Integration and post production defect
analysis and resolution; and Consume Web socket/HTTP messages using ReactJs to produce information
on UI screen. Full-time telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science,
or related technical field; plus 5 years of experience as a web UI developer or any occupation/title
providing web UI development experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or its equivalent in Software
Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; plus 3 years of experience as a web UI
developer or any occupation/title providing web UI development experience.
Must have the following: Demonstrated solid knowledge of core Web UI technologies including HTML5,
JavaScript and CSS; Demonstrated experience with expert-level knowledge working with React.js,
TypeScript, Redux, Sagas, and the related technology stack; Demonstrated experience with in-depth
knowledge of Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Nest, GraphQL; Demonstrated experience
with in-depth knowledge of JavaScript-based unit testing frameworks such Jest, Enzyme; and Experience
with CI/CD tools. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the stated ability in the skills listed
above with no specific number of years or amount of experience required. All experience can be gained
concurrently.)

Salary Range:

$126,800 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
