Who we are looking for

The role of this Database Developer is to assist onsite development and support of Enterprise recon suite of applications servicing various lines of business. This position requires 2+ years of IT experience with excellent technical, analytical, communication, conflict resolution skills, and expertise in reconciliation systems in financial domain.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As Database developer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, with a focus on developing data warehouse and ETL backend systems. Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Oracle Database is essential for this role.

  • Experience in coding PL/SQL Procedures and complex SQL queries.
  • Analyze, Design and Code ETL jobs.
  • Create Database Views/materialized views, Indexes, Partitions.
  • Strong knowledge of DW concepts.
  • Ability to communicate with Business users, understand and Analyze requirements and Use Cases.
  • Experience working in Agile Teams.
  • Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, or related field
  • Extensive experience in Oracle including PL/SQL development, Query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle data modelling and design techniques.
  • Good understanding of Big Data technologies.
  • Experience with ELT and ETL tools
  • Azure knowledge, Python scripting and java would be a plus

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $115,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
