Who we are looking for
The Cyber A&E Audit & Regulatory Lead will play a critical role in the Cyber Architecture & Engineering (A&E) function within GCS. Cyber A&E designs, architects, deploys, and continually enhances security measures for the protection of State Street’s information related to its assets and customers. This position sits on the Risk Product Management (RPM) team which plays a crucial role in assessing, mitigating, and managing risk across Cyber A&E. The Cyber A&E Audit & Regulatory Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards, as well as proactively mitigating risks through comprehensive audit and regulatory practices. This role will lead a small team responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating all audit and regulatory activities, with a focus on continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
What you will be responsible for
As Cyber A&E Audit & Regulatory Lead you will
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast a comprehensive audit and regulatory exam schedule.
- Identify key areas of focus and potential risks to be addressed during audits and examinations.
- Establish timelines, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure efficient and effective execution of audit and regulatory activities.
- Coordinate audit and regulatory examination fieldwork, overseeing the collection and analysis of relevant data and evidence.
- Ensure adherence to established protocols and standards, addressing any issues or discrepancies in real-time.
- Manage post-audit/exam remediation efforts, including the identification of findings, root cause analysis, and development of remediation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and enhancements to controls and processes.
- Complete regulatory assessments and questionnaires in a thorough and timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation and evidence to support regulatory submissions and inquiries.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Experience (~12+ years) in audit, risk management, GRC or similar role with an ability to manage cybersecurity risk matters with confidence.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or others equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, NIST, ISO 27001)
Additional requirements
Experience with international regulatory compliance will be considered a plus.

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
