The Performance & Analytics Product organization is recruiting for a global Head of Product Development to execute on the strategy for the business and lead the performance product roadmap. State Street’s product office is responsible for continuous product innovation and platform modernization and requires experienced leaders in product development to engage across the organization and ensure delivery against milestones towards target state.
As Product Development Manager you will lead a diverse team of subject matter experts, product owners, and business analysts across multiple geographies. The role reports to the Performance & Analytics Global Product Executive.

What you will be responsible for
The Performance & Analytics Product Development Manager will have responsibility for the following
- Working closely with the Product Executive and Product Managers to set the strategy for the business and required investment
- Document product gaps and plans to close gaps assessing the impact on client satisfaction, competitive positioning and strategic objective of State Street
- Own and lead the product development roadmap
- Own the demand management process for the prioritization of investment spend on an annual and 3 year rolling basis
- Manage a team of product owners and business analysts, workload balancing across the team to meet demand in a dynamic environment
- Partner closely with the Technology and Global Delivery organization to lead change whilst assessing impact on the operating model and technology architecture
- Work across products to improve the client experience through iterative feature function improvement
- Own the annual budget spend for the product and make assessments on ability to execute programs of work, securing sufficient time, resources and investment
- Establish robust stakeholder management processes
- Lead the data integration transition of business onto State Street’s strategic data platform and cloud-based performance application

- Prior experience of successfully delivering change in a complex environment whilst managing competing environments
- Proven change agents with track record of delivery
- Data expert with experience in modern data management techniques
- Budget and finance skills
- Proven record of delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall techniques
- Track record of engagement with complex clients, solutioning operating models and translating requirements into feature function capability for State Street platforms
- Strong team management skills, ability to motivate individuals through dynamic workloads
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to navigate organization through the solution delivery cycle
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ year's experience in product development
- Worked in Product organizations in prior roles
- Operated at a global level
- Prior experience working in Operations and/or technology
- Consultative experience working with institutional investors
- Strong team leadership and management skills

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
