Who we are looking for
State Street is making a multi-year strategic investment in Private Markets. We are looking for a deeply qualified, experienced, private markets product individual to lead our complex program management for our alternatives private markets product. This individual must bring strong experience in both private markets and in program/project management execution and be skilled in managing multi-year programs consisting of complex business transformation and technology development across front, middle, and back office operating models in the alternatives private markets segment. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and an understanding of our alternatives private markets business which includes our private equity, private credit, real assets and fund of funds segments. This position will interact with, and have exposure to the highest levels of executive management within State Street and within our clients’ organizations.
The Private Markets Global Head of Program Management is responsible for planning, execution and governance of State Street’s Private Markets product investment strategy.
What you will be responsible for
As Private Markets Product Program Manager you will
- Be responsible for managing the multi-year investment strategy portfolio of programs for the private markets product team
- Understands the impact of change on key stakeholder groups (clients, regulators, employees, shareholders and partners)
- Establishes program milestone planning and sequencing
- Ensures stakeholders are engaged and aligned on the strategy and execution plan
- Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships, and manage expectations with client stakeholders (as needed)
- Provide regular status updates and supporting program management reports as needed

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of financial industry work experience
- MBA, CFA, CAIA or PMP preferred
- Financial analysis skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
