Who we are looking for

The Senior Application Developer will serve as a securities finance and lending techincal SME across multiple middle office initiatives and will be responsible to analyze data, contribute in system design and write code to develop and deploy cloud compatible software applications to support Agency Lending business unit.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate great skill in creativity and innovation, ability to thrive in a high pressure environment, and possess excellent communication skills.

What you will be responsible for

As a Senior Application Developer you will

  • Provide technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and writing code to develop and deploy software applications asper the given project schedule.
  • Identifies and recommends Industry best practices.
  • Ability to work in a team of agile developers.
  • Work in a complex deadline driven projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to design/develop with minimum requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers and managers.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise in reviewing and debugging complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a complex deadline driven projects with minimal supervision.
  • Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.
  • Proven track record to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

What we value

  • Experienced, highly skilled in the following technologies as a developer. Core Java, Tomcat, Springboot, REST API, Web ServicesReactJS, SQL, Oracle/Exadata, Kafka, MQ , Linux, Git.
  • End to end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation.
  • Good understanding of cloud concepts and CI/CD deployment procedures.
  • Experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development is preferred.
  • Good team player.
  • Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Atleast 8 years + experience of Java coding experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL.
  • Exposure with cloud computing.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills. Experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides.
  • Masters in Computer Sciences preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years with Agile developement preferred.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
