Who we are looking for:

The Workstream AVP is a mid-level role for State Street Corporate Systems Finance platforms and partners. This hands-on role will partner with reporting lead \ senior-level development managers, and architects to develop and execute the technology product roadmap. The person in this role will be hands-on and will work with cross-functional teams, and will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of key Regulatory Reporting initiatives.

This resource will work on key Corporate Finance and Regulatory Reporting. This would require competency in all aspects of SDLC, requirement gathering and work with teams across the globe and be able to handle lead responsibility towards the project deployment & executions.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Subject matter expert on Regulatory Reporting applications and functions providing techno/functional leadership to the delivery team.
  • Lead projects and programs to support technology delivery aligned to business strategy
  • Understand and be able to articulate impact and importance of regulations, timing, etc. specific to the Regulatory Reporting domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the solution ties to business value realization.
  • Provide expert guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during design reviews and product demos with an eye towards simplicity of design and function.

A successful individual needs to be able to work through problems, and research issues, guide the cross-functional team, and their delivery shows attention to detail, and accuracy.

Key requirements include:

  • Analyze, design and develop to meet the requirements per the functional specifications for various regulatory reporting initiatives.
  • Analyze and breakdown the business requirements into technical implementation\solution.
  • Experience in Regulatory Reporting products like Axiom Controller View(CV10).
  • Strong knowledge of CV10 admin activities and controller view objects like Data Source, Data model, Portfolio, Aggregation, Shorthand, Freeform, Tabular Reports, submission process; etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience on AWS concepts(EC2, S3, EFS, Security Manage, IAM AuroraDB etc.) with working hands-on will be preferred.
  • Any data migration experience between OnPrem to public cloud(AWS) will be preferred.
  • Experience in Databricks, Spark, Snowflake etc. will be plus.
  • High level of proficiency in PL/SQL and data modelling.
  • Hands on R-Component, AUTOSYS, UNIX and ETL will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting with Axiom CV is a must.
  • Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to perform Unit testing prior to deployment.

  • Methodical approach to work, and capable of meeting high standards.
  • Adapt and excel at managing multiple simultaneous tasks in a high pressure, deadline based environment.
  • Self-motivated, work with minimal oversight and driven in getting things completed.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in professional software design and development.
  • 5+ years of Financial Services Industry experience, with background in Regulatory Reporting preferred.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
