Job Description – Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance Jira Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator to manage and enhance a centralized Jira portfolio management platform, supporting a high profile program with the potential to transition into a broader BAU role withing the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) function.
Initially the candidate will work closely with the Planning Lead and Planning SME to gather requirements and build capabilities within the platform.
As the program evolves, this role will expand into a key function ensuring that the Jira platform is optimized to meet the Global Cybersecurity function management and project planning needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Jira administration, portfolio management and planning with a strong understanding of project tracking, reporting and dependency management.
About the Cybersecurity GRC Team
The Governance Risk & Compliance team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our cybersecurity activity at State Street.
The function ensures that State Street aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements and risk tolerance. It operates through three core pillars; Governance, Risk and Compliance supported by ongoing monitoring , reporting and improvement.
As a member of the Cybersecurity GRC Team, you will have a significant opportunity in making a difference on the team, within the cybersecurity organization, as well as State Street overall.
What you will be responsible for
- Collaborating with the Planning Lead and SME to gather requirements and build Jira capabilities tailored to program needs
- Configure Jira workflows, custom fields, dashboards and permissions to support centralized portfolio management and planning
- Provide day to day support for the program team, ensuring the Jira platform operates smoothly and meets evolving requirements.
- Develop reporting and dashboard capabilities in Jira to track program milestones, dependencies, resourcing and status.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira related issues and provide training to program stakeholders as needed
- Maintain and enhance the centralized Jira Portfolio platform for GCS wide use, ensuring scalability and alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.
- Support portfolio level planning and tracking focusing on resource allocation , dependency management, critical path status and risk identification.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Jira administrator including workflow configuration, dashboard creation and custom reporting.
- Strong background in portfolio management and planning, with a clear understanding of project tracking, resource management, critical path and dependency analysis.
- Experience working with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into Jira solutions.
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot platform issues and ensure data integrity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support and train diverse teams
- Familiarity with additional reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) and experience in Agile or other Project management methodologies is a plus.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
