Who we are looking for
The Data Governance Officer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of the division's data assets. This role involves developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards to manage data effectively and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you will be responsible for
- Implement a comprehensive data governance framework
- Ensure compliance with data regulations and ethical standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data standards
- Identify and mitigate data quality issues
- Enforce data retention policies
- Implement and manage data classification policies
- Manage data security and privacy controls
- Provide training on data governance best practices
- Monitor and report on data governance performance
- Support the resolution of data, information and processing challenges impacting operational or business performance
This position will collaborate closely with teams across the organization, including but not limited to:
- GCF Product Heads and Account Officers
- GCF Middle and Back office teams
- Data Steward
- Finance and Markets Business Risk
- IT
- Enterprise Data Governance & Management
- Data Operations Solutions Team (DOST)

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies
- Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $102,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
