Privileged Access Senior Engineer

Who we are looking for
The Senior Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer will work in the Global Cyber Security organization. They will analyze, develop, and build processes and technology, to ensure timely delivery of PAM services with prioritized focus on the cloud. The Senior PAM engineer will be expected to lead in overall design and long-term strategy of the Privileged Access and Secrets Management program.
What you will be responsible for
- PAM System Design and Implementation:
- Architect and deploy PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, Secrets Management) across the enterprise, including integration with existing identity management systems.
- Configure access controls, session recording, and other PAM features to mitigate privileged access risks.
- Develop and implement policies for privileged account management, including just-in-time access and least privilege principles.
- Operational Management:
- Monitor PAM system for suspicious activity, anomalies, and potential security breaches.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to PAM functionality and user access.
- Perform regular audits and reviews of privileged accounts to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with IT teams, security analysts, and application owners to identify and address privileged access needs.
- Educate users on proper PAM procedures and best practices for managing privileged accounts.
- Provide technical expertise and support to incident response teams during security incidents involving privileged access.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of PAM concepts and technologies (e.g., session management, password vaulting, access certification)
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and integration
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) systems and protocols
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related fields.Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years Demonstrated background with cyber security field, including identity governance, access management, privileged access management..
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining PAM solutions
- Strong understanding of security principles and industry compliance standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams
• 5+ years working in the global financial services industry in a role that had direct contact and working responsibility with market regulatory agencies

Salary Range:
$130,000 - $205,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
