Who we are looking for

The Global Liquidity Management (GLM) Group, within the Global Treasury organization, oversees State Street’s liquidity planning, monitoring, analytics, and regulatory reporting globally. The group manages regulatory ratios such as the LCR, NSFR as well as the liquidity buffer requirements resulting from its Internal Liquidity Stress testing (ILST) and Recovery and Resolution planning (RRP) framework. The group is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirement such as the daily FR2052a and associated public disclosures. We work collaboratively with the Global Treasury Risk Management (GTRM) function to ensure we are managing liquidity within firm policies, limits and risk tolerance while meeting regulatory expectations promulgated by the Federal Reserve, the FDIC and other regulators globally. We are looking for an Assistant Vice President – Liquidity Governance.

What you will be responsible for

  • Support the Team lead in overseeing the governance, risks and controls of the Global Liquidity Management Team
  • Conduct detailed gap assessments against regulatory expectations (Reg YY, Reg WW, SR 10-6, SR 12-7 etc.)
  • Support the execution of the Material Liquidity Risk Identification process
  • Track, Manage, and respond to both internal and external regulatory, compliance, Risk and Audit inquiries
  • Create and maintain internal policies and procedures meeting regulatory requirements
  • Support drafting formal responses with detailed documentation and evidence to close out any open issues
  • Monitor controls and procedures are adhered to and evidence is documented
  • Own the preparation and execution of liquidity committee materials and reporting

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a related field (Finance, Economics, accounting etc.) M.Sc.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with specific experience in Liquidity Management
  • Strong Knowledge of the banking regulatory environment (Reg YY, Reg WW, SR 10-6, SR 12-7 etc.)
  • Strong written, verbal communication and time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, innovative, and a self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
