IT Business Analysis State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, MA: The individual contributor in this role will architect, design and develop multiple solutions as part of the Bionics team. The position will deliver technically advanced solutions in support of multiple, simultaneous initiatives spanning multiple disciplines and business lines. Specific duties include: Lead the business, process, and data analysis of complex data and visualization projects; Consult with business unit management as needed to analyze requirements asking probing questions to ensure the real needs are surfaced and understood; Evaluates multiple solutions and collaborate to identify the optimal analytical solution to fit within existing technologies and comply with overall strategic direction; Provides subject matter expertise of key State Street production processes and controls, operations, and relevant State Street; Ensures clear and concise expression of decisions to peers, development, business teams, and senior IT management; Provide direction and support to project staff, review their work and make recommendations as needed; Review completed analysis (requirements) with development team and QA team, provide oversight that the new functionality meets the requirements; and Identify and define any production implementation specific requirements. Hybrid telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent in Management Science, Project Management, Information Technology, or relevant field of study; plus 7 years of proven experience as Business Analyst or in any occupation providing relevant analytical experience in financial services industry. Alternatively, the Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or its equivalent in Management Science, Project Management, Information Technology, or relevant field of study; plus 4 years of proven experience as Business Analyst or in any occupation providing relevant analytical experience in financial services industry.
Must have: Proven analysis skills, at both the business level (analyzing the business process, workflows, and operations) and at the information level (how data and information is stored and maintained); Strong critical thinking skills, including considering stakeholder needs and asking probing questions until the real needs are surfaced and understood; Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills; Ability to work independently and connect the dots to identify themes and common needs; Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex datasets in varying formats to validate completeness, integrity, and accuracy of data, determine the root cause of any data-related issues, identify opportunities for data management improvements, and to produce clear and compelling reports for different audiences.; Ability to create visual models that support analyses, such as workflow diagrams or wireframe prototypes; Demonstrated experience working in an environment managing multiple, concurrent deliverables with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines; Results oriented ownership mentality; and Strong technology insights with demonstrated ability to work across business lines. Salary Range:
$148,762 - $200,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
