Who we are looking for

TradeNexus is seeking a Software Developer to help build our next generation of web application which will have meaningful impact for our customers and our business.

TradeNeXus (formerly FX Connect Trade Services and GTSS) is an award winning post-trade solution developed primarily for asset managers and their counterparties that provides electronic matching, confirmation and communication of settlement information for FX and money-market funds. The platform has recently rebranded and embarked on strategic enhancements to create additional value-add to its client base. The platform has recently extended its solutions to FX clearing workflows and CLS monitoring to facilitate overview of settlement across custodians.

TradeNeXus is a part of the GlobalLink suite of market-leading e-trading platforms, technology, data and workflow solutions from State Street Markets.

What you will be responsible for

As a Software Developer, you will

1. Design and build complete, high-performance web applications
2. Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and other developer team members
3. Identify and implement best practices in coding and design, keeping up on the latest developments in web technologies

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role


1. Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
2. 1+ years of experience with core Java 11 or higher, with Spring Boot
3. 1+ years experience with Kafka or other event streaming systems (RabbitMQ, Kinesis, Service Bus)
4. 1+ years of experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL5.
5. 1+ years of experience with ReactJS
6. Experience with distributed cache and compute grid products, such as Hazelcast
7. Working proficiency in developmental toolsets like GIT/BitBucket, JIRA, Maven
8. Design, deploy, and manage scalable applications using Kubernetes.
9. Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: back office technology and systems

Nice to have,

1. AWS experience.
2. Spark with Scala
3. Experience in PERF testing and turning as well as shift left practices.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Degree: Master’s Degree (in Computer Science or similar areas)
Experience/Skills Required: Total 1+ years of IT experience
Certifications: AWS is a plus but not mandatory

Preferred Skills: Linux Operating System, Scripting Experience, Knowledge on Network and System Concepts

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $120,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
