State Street seeks to recruit an Insider Threat Investigator responsible for the investigative function of responding to violations of the cyber/information security policy at State Street. This team will work with the core Global Cyber Security teams, Global Security, Global Human Resources, Enterprise Continuity Services, and infrastructure teams to investigate, resolve, and recover from insider threats and other cyber security matters. This position requires analytic skills, critical thinking, strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, quick reaction, interview experience, and technical expertise to protect the bank’s assets. What you will be responsible for
As an Insider Threat Investigator you will
- Conduct comprehensive investigations analysis in support of the insider threat mandate and in support of GCS policy
- Aggregate, analyze and evaluate available data to assess insider threat risk
- Complete Root Cause Analysis in support of active investigations
- Extract and organize data to build metrics, re‐ ports, case studies and trend reports
- Conduct analysis of incidents and present find‐ ings to a variety of audiences, including senior decision makers
- Prepare and produce situational awareness and warning reports related to insider threat

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with insider threat analysis and/or investigations and monitoring demonstrated through work, military, or education
- 5+ years of experience with cyber threat detection platforms
- 5+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, problem and incident management, and availability management, demonstrated through work, military, or education
- 3+ years of experience with insider threat detection platforms
- Strong background in intelligence and/or investigations preferred

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
