Who we are looking for

Fund Accounting & Administration, Associate 2 is responsible for engaging with clients and other State Street teams to resolve issues, answer inquiries and process comments while working towards readying monthly NAV to ensure client satisfaction is met through adherence to SLAs. You will also help assist with the activities of offshore teams to produce and/or review client monthly, quarterly, reporting as per GAAP requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Associate 2 you will:

•Resolve routine problems using own initiative and escalate complex issues as needed
•Conduct self-review for completed activities and review completed activities for A1s
•Maintain relevant documentation for assigned activities
•Perform research and resolution on exception items; escalate unresolved issues to management as needed
•Proactively share new ideas to support process improvement and changes to team processes
• Deliver services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that assigned work is performed to meet internal standards

•Primary operational day to day contact for clients as required
•Manage own development by engaging in the PPR process, seeking feedback from others and by attending mandated and relevant training
•Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities

Act in accordance with Risk Excellence as part of our Way Ahead foundation
•Perform other duties as required

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in alternative/fund accounting or related experience

  • Knowledge and proficiency with Fund Accounting

  • Excellent computer knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $66,560 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
