Who we are looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DLP Specialist to join the Content Engineering team in the US region. The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 1 year of hands-on expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)—writing queries, conducting investigations, and developing policies. This role is central to designing and maintaining enterprise-level DLP solutions across cloud and on-prem platforms, including Zscaler, Microsoft Purview, and Proofpoint. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance detection capabilities, author SOPs, and deliver impactful reporting, while demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
As DLP Content Engineer you will:
• Collaborate with DLP Operations and Triage teams to gather and interpret requirements
• Design and configure DLP policies across cloud and on-prem platforms
• Conduct testing in Dev and UAT environments to ensure production readiness
• Document SOPs and technical materials to support consistent service delivery
• Partner with triage analysts to tune policies and support investigations
• Work with vendors to deploy new features and enhance platform capabilities
• Mature detection capabilities and improve rule effectiveness across platforms
• Engage stakeholders to define needs and deliver tailored DLP solutions
• Provide clear reports and presentations to governance and approval boards
• Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise DLP platforms

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree/Industry Recognized Certification in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, including 1+ year in DLP investigations
• Experience with Zscaler, Microsoft Purview, or Proofpoint DLP platforms
• Proficiency in Regex, scripting, and data analysis/reporting tools
• Demonstrated ability to author SOPs and technical documentation

Additional requirements
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus but not required.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
