Who we are looking for

The Office of the CAO Project Lead (State Street Investment Management) will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Administrative Officer, CAO, of State Street Investment Management on special projects including managing and executing on the OKR process, directing internal and external presentations and speaking engagements, and ensuring the CEO is well-prepared for key activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience with managing work with tight deadlines, writing and coordinating key messages and presentations for c-suite individuals, and managing complex internal and external relationships.

As the Office of the CAO Project Lead (State Street Investment Management) you will:

  • Own the creation and management of Investment Management level objectives and key results, partnering closely with Corporate Strategy and Finance colleagues to ensure targets are monitored, supported and achieved.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in State Street and Finance to create materials and presentations required for Executive Committee meetings and along with quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with the Internal and External Communications teams to manage and prepare all the CEO's speaking engagements and events.
  • Plan and manage the senior most Investment Management Operating Group meeting agendas.
  • Assist the CAO with strategic projects to ensure they are moving ahead and critical path issues are resolved and progressed, working closely with a broad range of colleagues across State Street Investment Management and State Street.

  • Proven experience in writing, coordinating and outlining key messages for c-suite speeches and media engagements.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
  • Strategic thinker with the resourcefulness and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Have a proven track record of supporting high-level executives and managing complex projects

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate would have an MBA or equivalent degree.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
