What you will be responsible for

As a Vice President in the Institutional Transfer Agency, you will:

  • Direct the management of one or more operational areas with a complex function, ensuring all activities adhere to a robust and uncompromising control environment.

  • Lead and develop teams to achieve the goals of the Transfer Agent and State Street, with a strong focus on cultivating a workplace where employees are empowered to grow their careers and reach their full potential.

  • Foster successful interaction with clients, vendor organizations, and other areas of the bank, consistently delivering exceptional service and building long-term, trusted relationships.

  • Assess staffing needs, recruit, select, train, evaluate, and develop teams, prioritizing both operational excellence and employee engagement.

  • Oversee all controls and deliverables within your area of responsibility, working with multiple internal and external partners to ensure no service interruptions or failures, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and risk management.

  • Develop and implement process improvements and effectively manage change to ensure departmental and organizational objectives are met, always with a focus on control, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Resolve escalation items with a solutions-oriented mindset, balancing risk mitigation with business needs.

  • Manage direct and indirect budgetary responsibilities effectively.

  • Present effectively to internal and external parties, including clients, demonstrating a leadership style that inspires confidence and trust.

  • Formulate, recommend, and implement departmental goals, policies, and budgets that reinforce a culture of accountability, integrity, and professional growth.

  • Manages other projects or tasks as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS required with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services; advanced degree is preferred.

  • The incumbent must have 5 - 7 years’ management experience.

  • The incumbent should possess substantial operational background.

  • The incumbent must possess superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • The incumbent must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • The incumbent must possess strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Salary Range:

$115,000 - $182,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
