Who we are looking for

As the Global Portfolio Readiness Lead, you will be a strategic driver in shaping the global operational ecosystem for portfolio data quality, control frameworks, recordkeeping, and client operations support. This role ensures portfolio managers trade with confidence and clients receive accurate, timely, and consistent information. You will lead a high-performing global team, champion transformation initiatives, and deliver operational excellence aligned with growth, risk management, and client experience objectives.

What you will be responsible for

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and execute the global strategy for portfolio data quality and operational readiness, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities such as growth, risk mitigation, and client retention.

  • Develop and implement location strategy, resource planning, and deal estimation to optimize global delivery and cost efficiency.

  • Drive key product enhancements and global delivery simplification goals to streamline offerings and enhance scalability.

  • Lead workforce optimization initiatives, including capacity planning, talent mix alignment, and global resourcing strategies to maximize efficiency and support transformation goals.

Client Experience & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior executives, external partners, and clients across regions to deliver best in class operational support and foster cross functional alignment.

  • Work closely with global functional leads to enhance overall client experience across Front Middle and Back Office operations.

  • Act as the primary escalation contact for Portfolio Readiness globally, including clients and AOIA senior leadership.

  • Lead resolution of BAU issues across Front, Middle and Back Office, ensuring accuracy of OMS (CRIMS/BBG etc.), IBOR, and investment accounting by coordinating with Client Pod Leads and the Global Front Office Support Lead.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of portfolio and entry level data through rigorous daily reconciliations between client Front Office and State Street IBOR systems.

  • Manage data quality controls across investment accounting systems, cash positions, and related portfolio activities to maintain consistency and reliability.

  • Ensure timely promotion of multi region Start of Day cash and position data for client trading teams, deliver and validate data feeds to client OMS, and collaborate with the Alpha Data Operations lead to maintain performance benchmarks and security master integrity across regions.

Data Integrity & Control

  • Oversee recordkeeping coordination and support investment operations teams, ensuring timely, consistent, and high quality information delivery.

  • Consolidate and standardize global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk profiles to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational resilience across regions.

  • Ensure global team responsiveness for complex data issues, delivering reliable and timely operational service

  • Monitor and manage risk exposure, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting, maintaining robust documentation and governance frameworks.

  • Maintain robust reconciliation and control processes to uphold data quality across all portfolio activities.

Transformation & Technology Enablement

  • Champion initiatives to enhance service quality, cost efficiency, and scalability. Promote collaboration, best practice sharing, and capability across teams.

  • Leverage and drive advanced technologies, including AI tools, to drive process automation, workload optimization, and operational resilience.

Leadership & Workforce Optimization

  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

  • Drive workforce optimization, including capacity planning, talent mix alignment, and owning footprint and location strategy to ensure optimal global resource deployment and cost efficiency.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Investment Management operational support

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong client-facing and presentation capabilities

  • Proven leadership and resource management expertise

  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to lead through change and drive transformation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL coding, and accounting platforms

  • Hands-on experience with State Street (STT) systems and tools such as Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS), RKS, GTM, SSCD, Cash HUB, D-HUB, ESP, and TLM/PLM, with deep understanding of their integration into portfolio and operational workflows.

  • Exposure to other leading Order Management Systems (OMS) such as Bloomberg (BBG) and similar platforms, with practical knowledge of trade lifecycle and front-to-back integration.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $252,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
