Overview

The Educational Services team is seeking a creative, motivated Summer Intern to help amplify the visibility and impact of our product training offerings. In this role, you’ll support the design and execution of marketing and communication efforts that drive awareness, engagement, and participation across our learning programs.

From building marketing campaigns and developing compelling program content to producing polished explainer videos and promotional assets, this internship offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our learning ecosystem while gaining hands‑on experience with modern content development tools, digital marketing practices, and collaborative, real‑world projects.

This role is ideal for a college student who is curious, creative, and excited to learn how learning, product content, and marketing come together in a professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities and projects would include:

  • Support the creation of marketing and communication assets that promote product training programs to customers, partners, and employees.
  • Assist with the production of explainer videos, including scripting, storyboarding, recording, and basic editing, following Educational Services standards.
  • Help develop internal and external video and multimedia assets that clearly communicate product features, training updates, and key value propositions.
  • Collaborate with team members to support social media and digital promotion efforts that increase visibility and engagement.
  • Assist in building and coordinating targeted marketing campaigns across email, digital, and social channels.
  • Contribute to the growth of the CRD Academy brand by helping drive awareness and engagement through consistent, learner‑focused messaging.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct light market or competitor research to identify trends in training, upskilling, and education marketing.
  • Refresh existing training or promotional materials with updated copy, visuals, or multimedia elements.
  • Write or assist with short promotional copy for newsletters, product updates, and internal communications.
  • Support the planning and promotion of virtual or in‑person learning events, webinars, or training launches.
  • Help maintain a content or campaign calendar to track upcoming releases and initiatives.
  • Experiment with new tools (including AI‑assisted content tools, video platforms, or screen‑capture solutions) to streamline content creation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to help translate technical information into clear, learner‑friendly content.
  • Document repeatable processes and best practices to support future interns or team members.

Required Skills:

  • Interest in content creation, marketing, communications, or learning and development.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Comfort working independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with teammates when needed.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and workflows, with support and guidance from the team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar productivity tools.
  • Openness to feedback and a desire to apply suggestions to improve work over time.
  • Initiative to ask questions, explore ideas, and take ownership of projects.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, stay organized, and meet agreed‑upon deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Financial industry
  • Coursework, projects, or personal interest related to marketing, communications, media, design, education, or technology.
  • Exposure to or interest in social media platforms and digital content creation.
  • Experience with class projects, clubs, or personal work involving video, graphics, or multimedia (formal experience not required).
  • Familiarity with basic video editing, screen capture, or design tools through school or personal use.
  • Curiosity about how people learn and how training or educational content is created and shared.
  • Interest in online learning, training programs, or digital education platforms.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies (including AI tools) and enthusiasm for experimenting with new ways of working.

What You’ll Learn

As a Summer Intern on the Educational Services team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working on real projects that support our training and learning programs. With guidance and mentorship from experienced team members, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Support the creation and promotion of product training programs in a professional, enterprise environment.
  • Use marketing and communication strategies to drive awareness and engagement with learning content.
  • Create video and multimedia assets, from early concepts and scripts through final delivery.
  • Translate technical or product‑focused information into clear, engaging, learner‑friendly content.
  • Use digital channels such as email and social media to promote educational offerings.
  • Explore AI and emerging content tools to enhance creativity and streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate across teams (Education, Marketing, Product, and others) to support shared goals.
  • Apply professional skills such as communication, organization, time management, and project ownership in a real‑world setting.
  • Receive feedback, iterate, and continuously improveme while building confidence and experience.

By the end of the internship, you’ll leave with practical experience, portfolio‑ready examples of your work, and a deeper understanding of how learning and content teams operate in a professional organization.

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
