What We’re Looking For
For Global Cloud Operations at Charles River Development (CRD), this initiative is designed to accelerate our journey toward transformation and operational excellence by fostering a collaborative, two-way learning environment. This opportunity will focus on an exchange of knowledge where interns demonstrate innovative abilities with AI and automation solutions for our overall operational workflows covering both the administrative aspect as well as the technical aspect of our day to day providing greater efficiencies, while our experienced professionals provide mentorship on enterprise-grade operations and governance. The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created the first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What You Will Be Responsible For
• Project management and organization of tasks for both you and other teams
• Participating in governance and audit activities relating to our technical processes and procedures
• Automation, Documentation, Diagrams and Reporting
• Using approved AI tools to enhance productivity for all work efforts
• Responding to internal and external client requests for technical assistance
• Diagnosing software issues and recommending appropriate solutions
• Analyzing problems, answering product-related questions, and providing user guidance
• Identifying, testing, and documenting workarounds for software bugs or functional gaps
• Contributing to continued improvements of support processes and tools
• Logging customer interactions and preparing resolution summaries
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AI solutions that augment tasks that require greater efficiencies
• Experience with one or more structured programming languages (SQL preferred)
• Understanding of basic system administration concepts: configuration, resource sharing, OS fundamentals
• Relevant technical/functional coursework, academic projects, or extracurricular activities
• Understanding Technology Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills, including process analysis
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting client expectations
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to work in a team environment
• Planning to graduate in 2027

Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
