As the Board Relationship Officer you will join a team that has governance and oversight responsibilities for SSIM’s investment products registered for distribution in the United States. Specifically, you will partner with constituents to develop and maintain a robust annual contract renewal process in support of State Street’s U.S. registered investment adviser, SSIM Funds Management, Inc. You will act as a liaison to compliance, operations, legal, portfolio management, adviser.
You will assist in collation of metrics and data to feed into various reports that support our Fund Boards and internal operating units.
You will oversee the process for the compilation and regulatory filing of SSIM Funds Management, Inc.’s proxy voting records. You will coordinate the movement of reports between service providers and quality check identifying information, ensuring the timely filing and distribution of the regulatory reports.
Additionally, you will support board reporting and product life cycle implementation projects or other group initiatives as needed.

Daily functions would include but not be limited to:
- Leading preparation of annual contract renewal process of the U.S. Adviser’s
- Collaborate with Relationship Management leads to update and harmonization contract renewal materials as needed;
- Build consensus and partner with functional areas to produce comprehensive, timely and relevant reporting;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including other business lines and corporate functions
- Performing analysis of metrics and data collected to ensure quality of reporting
- Maintaining the highest standards of conduct and integrity within the business and ensuring compliance with industry practice, company policies, statute and regulatory requirements in all matters
- Run effective meetings with internal and external participants
- Maintain an awareness of SSIM’s key strategies and strategic initiatives.

- Strong abilities in analytical thinking, problem solving, time management and verbal and written communication;
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excel, PowerPoint and Word proficient
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate college degree required
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite is required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial services industry, experience with a registered investment adviser preferred
- Knowledge of Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
- Understanding of Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Products and their governance structures
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $101,250 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
