Impact Statement

The Alpha Services Commercials and Standards team supports the commercial governance of new business and product offerings across the Alpha platform. As a Summer Intern, you will learn about key components of the New Business and Product Review and Approval (NBPRA) process, how we support deal modeling and pricing activities, model opportunities with both new and existing clients, and help maintain fee schedules and commercial documentation.

This role provides hands-on exposure to how complex financial services products are reviewed, priced, approved, and governed in a global organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Learn and support the New Business and Product Review and Approval (NBPRA) process, including preparation, tracking, and documentation of submissions

  • Support deal modeling and pricing analysis for new and existing Alpha client opportunities

  • Help draft, review, and update fee schedules, pricing exhibits, and related commercial documentation

  • Maintain trackers and reporting related to deal status, approvals, and commercial metrics

  • Prepare materials for internal governance and stakeholder meetings, including PowerPoint presentations and summary documents

  • Take structured meeting notes, capture action items, and follow up on deliverables

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Alpha Services, including product, operations, legal, and finance teams

  • Support ad-hoc projects related to commercial standards, governance, and process improvement initiatives

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Introductory understanding of general financial terms and calculations

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
