Who we are looking for
Technical Program Manager to lead and manage cross functional teams to deliver complex technology programs at State Street Global Markets. We are looking for an experienced leader to drive several large and complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business & tech objectives. This is an internal facing role with need to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment with focus on project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to achieve successful program outcomes.
Having Capital markets domain knowledge is a plus along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
This role is based in Boston, MA, USA and will work with globally distributed team.
What you will be responsible for
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute program plans, define scope, objectives and timelines
- Work with engineering, product and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
- Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and manage potential roadblocks
- Communicate program status, updates and potential issues to stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong project governance processes, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices
- Experience using agile/scrum SDLC
- Effectively manage and communicate changes within the program, ensuring minimal disruption and continued project success
- Analyze program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimization
- Possess understanding of cloud based implementation, technology migration projects
- Work closely with on-shore and off-shore team members. This includes other program/ project managers, business analysts, developers and QA personnel

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years experience in managing and delivering large IT projects
- Successful track record of delivering projects and programs using lightweight or agile approaches
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strength in initiative-taking, leadership and influencing skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast–growing and changing environment
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle for iterative, agile, and traditional approaches. Experience with JIRA a strong plus.
- Team player, detail oriented and self-motivated to drive work to proceed with minimal supervision
- Multiple tasking ability. Excellent time management skills to manage project priorities
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $188,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
