We are seeking an AVP, Content Operations Manager to play a critical role in managing day-to-day content production and workflows. This role focuses on ensuring content moves efficiently and accurately through intake, production, review, publishing, and ongoing updates across digital and client-facing channels.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This is a hands-on role that combines project management, workflow coordination, light editorial support, and content lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production and Trafficking
Manage end-to-end production workflows for content, from intake through publishing and post-publish updates.
Coordinate content trafficking across platforms and channels, ensuring accurate setup, timely delivery, and adherence to brand, editorial, and compliance standards.
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for content status, timelines, dependencies, and handoffs.
Content Renewals and Lifecycle Management
Own the process for content renewals, updates, and retirements, ensuring content remains accurate, compliant, and current.
Track review cycles, expiration dates, and required updates in partnership with content owners, marketing, legal, and compliance teams.
Workflow and Project Management
Support and help manage editorial calendars.
Track project timelines, approvals, risks, and bottlenecks; proactively flag issues and drive resolution.
Maintain clear documentation, trackers, and reporting to provide visibility into content demand and delivery.
Editorial and Quality Support
Provide light editing, proofreading, and quality control to ensure content meets editorial standards, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Review content for accuracy, formatting, metadata, and readiness prior to publishing.
Ensure consistent application of content standards across formats and channels.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner closely with content strategists, writers, designers, digital teams, compliance partners and others to keep work moving smoothly.
Support content leaders with operational tasks, workflow management, and process improvements.
Act as a reliable operational partner to help the broader content team stay organized and on track.
What We’re Looking For
4-7 years of experience in content operations, marketing operations, digital content management, or a related role.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline.
Experience supporting content workflows in a regulated environment; financial services or asset management experience strongly preferred.
Comfort providing light editorial support, including proofreading and basic content editing.
Familiarity with enterprise CMS and workflow tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, or similar).
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to support wherever needed.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $140,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
