The State Street Markets Portfolio Solutions Product Manager Lead (“PS Product Manager Lead”) executes a complex portfolio of strategic and tactical initiatives for the Portfolio Solutions business line of State Street Markets. The portfolio encompasses broad aspects of the business: strategy development and implementation; new product, geographic and product expansion, trading systems and operational model design and implementation; governance approvals and risk oversight. The PS Product Manager Lead will partner with Strategy, Technology, Operations, Business Risk, Legal and other business partners to execute initiatives and deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic priorities.
This role could potentially be based in Boston, Jersey City, or London.

What you will be responsible for
The PS Product Manager Lead is a player coach and will be responsible for executing a subset of the portfolio while also managing the entire portfolio to ensure it is resourced and progressing as prioritized.
- Translate business strategic vision into functional product plans
- Define product features and develop product overviews, workflows and visual artifacts to crystalize product use, and process owners.
- Work with technology to drive technology solutions and deliverables to meet PS Business requirements
- Document and Manage technology and other business partner demand; help resolve competing priorities and constraints
- Build strong relationships with business partners ( i.e Legal, Compliance, Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) and ensure they understand business needs to create robust and sustainable solutions.
- Manage internal relationships and communications with business partners.
- Resolve significant issues or roadblocks working with senior management across the bank as required.
- Effectively, communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders with varied interests.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with technology, compliance, and legal teams to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, ensuring transparency and buy-in at all project stages.
- Champion communication bridges between technical and non-technical teams, enabling efficient prioritization and decision-making for financial product initiatives.
- Led cross-functional teams by gathering input and requirements from stakeholders across finance, operations, technology, and compliance departments to define and deliver impactful product solutions.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder workshops and feedback sessions to align product strategy with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of Industry Experience
- Familiarity with trading lifecycle and operating models
- Equities, Fixed Income, Broker Dealer exposure
- Demonstrated success executing initiatives and technology within complex organizational settings
- Demonstrated capability to interact, negotiate and influence senior management
- Outstanding organizational, analytical and consultative abilities.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $207,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
