Job Description:

The IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) Integration and Oversight lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's identity governance framework, user lifecycle processes, and operational excellence initiatives. This role serves as the strategic and operational owner of identity onboarding, access certification, policy enforcement, and day-to-day IGA operations.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Compliance

Lead access certification campaigns and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific standards. Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate governance effectiveness and audit readiness. Partner with compliance, audit, and legal teams to address identity-related risks and findings.

Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

Collaborate with business units and accelerate application onboarding to central IGA platform leveraging automation technologies. Design and optimize automated onboarding, transfer, and offboarding processes for employees, contractors, and third-party users. Implement birthright access provisioning and role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks.

Technology & Platform Management

Own the IGA platform configuration that is required to effectively manage certification campaigns and application onboarding. Drive continuous improvement through development, custom workflows, and platform capabilities. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to the identity infrastructure.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary liaison between information security, IT operations, application owners, and business leadership on identity matters. Conduct training sessions and awareness campaigns to promote identity governance best practices. Translate technical identity concepts into business value for executive audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in identity and access management with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
  • Deep expertise with IGA platforms (SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow, Saviynt, Oracle Identity Manager, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of identity governance concepts including RBAC, ABAC, access certification, and SoD
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
  • Proven track record of managing complex identity programs in enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor-specific IGA certifications
  • Background in scripting/programming (PowerShell, Python, Java) for automation
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Previous experience in heavily regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government)
  • Familiarity with zero trust architecture and modern identity approaches

  • User satisfaction scores for identity services
  • Risk score reduction through improved governance controls

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $217,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
