Who we are looking for
Responsible for Proxy Teams processing of custody clients Voting. The Proxy Team ensures distribution of meeting notification through Vote Confirmation for all Clients holdings. This will include monitoring of vote submission, confirmation of voting, meeting documentation and Client inquiries. Focus will mainly be around processing Clients Power of Attorney documents, monitoring vendor meeting creation and voting are completed accurately and timely. An ideal candidate has experience and understands all aspects of Proxy Voting and can utilize internal SSB and external relationships to troubleshoot instruction related issues.

Primary Responsibilities:
Carry out core and complex processing activities related to Proxy Voting. In accordance with established procedures.
Ability to multitask, ensure accuracy and execute against pre-determined or procedural deadlines.
Train staff on basic principles of process
Handle complex issues and escalate as needed acting with a sense of urgency
Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches, and suspicious activities
Perform related duties as assigned
Develop effective relationships with peers as well as build strong relationships with both internal and external parties.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
B.S. degree in accounting or Finance preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Shareholder/Proxy Voting mechanics understanding preferred
Strong written and verbal communication ability
Salary Range:
$41,600 - $66,560 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
