Who we are looking for

The Vice President, Project Manager will lead complex, cross functional initiatives critical to Investment Services strategic priorities, regulatory commitments, and operational transformation. This role partners closely with senior business leaders, technology, operations, and risk functions to deliver outcomes on time, on scope, and with clear accountability. The focus of this project management role will be on Sales and RM effectiveness and efficiency to improve commercial activity in Investors Services.

What you will be responsible for

As a Vice President in IS Enablement, you will

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large, complex programs and projects spanning multiple functions and systems
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define problem statement, scope, success metrics, milestones, and governance
  • Drive execution discipline, issue resolution, risk management, and dependency tracking
  • Translate strategic initiatives into executable plans with clear ownership and timelines
  • Manage related impacts, stakeholder /executive communications, and executive reporting
  • Identify and escalate risks, regulatory considerations, and delivery dependencies and align to enterprise governance and control frameworks.
  • Effectively manage the “go live” decision including readiness, staff communications, necessary materials and training.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • 8+ years of project or program management experience in financial services or a regulated environment, preferably at State Street with deep knowledge of the organization and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with data - including understanding the data, managing and normalizing the date, translating the data into useful, consistent reporting and integrated into workflows
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to operate in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience with both business and technology‑enabled transformations
  • Experience with the client base important to the Investment Services division – Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Insurance companies and Alternatives. Especially those that are large complex, global organizations.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Data Science or Finance.
  • Experience within Investment Services, Sales, Enablement and/or Relationship Management
  • Familiarity with technology‑driven initiatives, artificial intelligence improvements and control frameworks
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong understanding of the State Street Legal Entities and nuances by legal entity to consider for projects and process changes.
  • Experience operating at AVP/ VP level

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $188,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
