The Process Engineer, Assistant Vice President is responsible for managing and continuously improving State Street’s enterprise processes for Approved Technology List (ATL) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes, ensuring that application and platform changes meet architecture, security, and operational requirements prior to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities
Approved Technology List Management
- Manage the enterprise approved technology list (ATL)
- Collaborate with ITAM Flexera team to evaluate the ITAM data set
- Partner with different organization functions to identify and manage the ATL ownership.
- Coordinate the annual review process
Process Orchestration and Stakeholder engagement
- Operate and maintain the end-to-end ATO process, covering different phases.
- Participate in New Technology Adoption Process (NTAP)
- Collaborate with architecture, security, risk, and delivery teams to resolve issues.
Governance & control enablement
- Controls management
- Ensure workflows enforce enterprise architecture standards, security controls, and operational readiness requirements prior to production release.
- Support audit and regulatory expectations by maintaining clear process documentation, defined tollgates, and traceable approval artifacts.
Metrics, Reporting & Transparency
- Define and track Process KPIs (cycle time, backlog, rework drivers, demand patterns).
- Provide regular reporting on process performance and risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in technology process engineering, governance, or enterprise delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, architecture governance, security risk processes, and production readiness.
- Proven ability to operate in complex, highly regulated environments.
- ITAM – Flexera system and data set knowledge
- Data Analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ATO, ARB, or similar enterprise approval frameworks.
- Financial services or large-scale enterprise technology experience.
- Experience improving or automating governance processes using workflow platforms and developer portals.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
