Who we are looking for
We are looking for a VP reporting directly to MD. We are looking for a technical Production Application Support lead to support State Street Markets business applications. The person in this position will be responsible for the support of trading, settlement and reporting applications as well as support of maintenance and application release activities. The person is this role will work directly with both the business and application development teams in addressing and resolving application issues and will be the support lead for this area of support.

The Production Support team you will be joining is a part of the global GTS-Production Management, who maintains and supports trade execution and trade settlement/reporting applications globally for State Street Markets
What you will be responsible for
As a VP, you will:
- Lead a global application support team
- Lead projects like monitoring, Automation, Application onboarding
- Provide direct technical trading floor application support to our Markets business partners
- Work with business users in State Street Markets on gathering, analyzing and formulating business requirements as it pertains to Support
- Troubleshoot/analyze and triage application and trading issues
- Monitor application environment for issues
- Assist in the maintenance and deployments of trading applications
- Provide Disaster Recovery Testing support
- Work in a 24x7 environment
- Direct and assist junior staff

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 7 years in a technical role in a financial institution
- Experience supporting large scale, 24/7, real time mission critical systems
- Experience in financial business processes
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows and cloud computing
- Working knowledge of Middleware (WebSphere, MQ Series, Autosys, etc.), and J2EE
Additional requirements
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange/Equities/Securities Finance business process flows
Work Requirement
- Full time, 4-day per week in office
- US Business hours +on-call off hours
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
