Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Public Relations Specialist to join our Global Public Relations team supporting communications for State Street and State Street Investment Management. This role will contribute to integrated public relations programs that elevate the corporate brand, support proactive storytelling, and reinforce the firm’s reputation across earned, owned and shared channels.
This is an ideal opportunity for a communications professional with 3–5 years of public relations or media relations experience who is looking to deepen their exposure to financial services, work closely with senior leaders, and grow into a more strategic PR role over time.
The Specialist will support our VP bench across global programs, media engagement, content development, agency coordination, and reporting, helping ensure campaigns are executed with rigor, consistency, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.
Public relations plays a vital role in shaping State Street’s reputation and positioning our investment management capabilities with clients, investors, and the media. In this role, you will help bring complex investment stories to life, support senior spokespeople, and contribute to campaigns that reinforce State Street’s leadership across key asset classes and market themes.
You will gain hands‑on experience working across global teams, senior leaders, and top-tier media — while helping to ensure that our communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with firmwide priorities.
Why this role is important to us
You will be joining the Investment Services function that allows us to deliver a comprehensive, holistic approach to each client relationship — for asset managers and asset owners, insurance companies, and official institutions globally. It means our client-facing functions work together to bring the very best solutions and services the firm has to offer — across all of our locations, products, and capabilities.
Join us if making your mark on the long-lasting client relationships we build is a challenge you are up for.
