Who we are looking for
Individual will lead the planning and execution of Alpha E2E and middle office business and transformation needs.
The Alpha Conversion team manages the execution of the critical migration, conversion & cutover activities necessary to bring new clients on to the State Street Alpha platform. The Alpha Conversion team operates in a dynamic and changing environment with very demanding needs. As the business and team continues to go we are constantly looking at ways to transform the way we work with people, process and technology. This is a complex and challenges initiative working across the platform stack and the product/implementation team that bring it life for clients.
The Alpha transformation lead will manage and lead concurrent efforts to optimize the work by in the field to convert clients onto the platform. Responsibilities will range from resourcing and cost estimation for change, planning and execution of transformation initiatives. Business management and creative ideation to drive recommendation through to the entire lifecycle will be a critical aspect of this role. Leveraging our adoption of Artificial Intelligence and recommending where bots will be most effective and drive the most benefit is also crucial. The individual will be expected to coordinate the activities of those involved across their conversion leads, product implementation leads, client leads and technology leads.
What you will be responsible for
Influence and drive the execution and adoption of change across the business, including but not limited to the conversation practice.
Transformation and business project management tasks, collateral and documentation, status updates for stakeholder and senior management
Obtain and seek stakeholder buy-in, funding, operational approval and stakeholder alignment
Coordinates and drives the strategy and deliverables across all aspect of transformational change. May be responsible for managing analyst resources
Contribute to drive the execution of approved AI initiatives across data management activities in the field and across the Digital Twin.
Ensure proper controls and governance are in place to adopt enhancement in fast paced environment while being deliberate, controlled and risk aware.
Ensure any changes to people, process or technology is in compliance with the firms Risk Management Framework
Deliver on and manage a robust and repeatable testing framework
Resource planning and vendor relationship management
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management or related field; plus
15 years of relevant financial industry experience.
10 of those years need to be directly involved in large scale strategic implementation environments.
Additional Requirements
Proven experience in Migration, Cutover/Conversion discipline as part of large scale transformation projects – ideally within a context of migrating from Clients legacy architecture on to a vendor or service providers systems.
Strong negotiation and management skills to drive results based on business value and achievable outcomes
Demonstrated capacity in challenging & optimising cutover approaches & runbooks and management thereof foe the benefit of High Value transformation projects
Previous experience with AI initiatives and foundational knowledge of key terms and industry practice.
Working experience with the Microsoft toolkit available through Co-Pilot and taking full advantage of associated BOTS.
Demonstrated high Level knowledge or experience in Capital markets including Middle Office, and front office systems and their treatment of associated product types.
Executive presence and client facing skills needed to articulate and partner with clients on joint initiatives
Demonstrated excellent Communication Skills with ability to effectively run meetings and collaborate across teams and functions;
Demonstrated high level of skill in team management, employee empowerment and mentoring
Proven ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work;
Experience owning initiatives / projects related to Middle Office Client Onboarding;
Proven intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, as well as Microsoft Project, JIRA or other project management software experience; and
Solid understanding of Data Warehouses and Databases including SQL.
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $217,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
