Who we are looking for
We’re significantly expanding our wealth service offering across custody and clearing, and developing new consumer-grade applications for institutional clients, designed to help everyday people confidently plan for their futures.
This role is for a hands-on senior product designer who thrives at the intersection of consumer-focused wealth planning, AI-enabled experiences, and scalable design systems.
You’ll design for a zero-to-one product portfolio: shaping interaction models, designing critical flows, and partnering closely with Business, Engineering, and your Design Team colleagues. You’ll be setting a high bar through craft and execution.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where there is a balance of working from home and office.
What you will be responsible for
- Design for multiple wealth planning applications across multiple personas/user types, from early concept through launch and iteration
- Produce user journeys tracking general tasks as well as support experiences
- Shape AI-enabled querying experiences, including natural language input, guided prompts, product support, and serving contextual educational content
- Define interaction patterns for dynamic dashboards that adapt to user roles, preferences, and behaviors
- Partner closely with business to frame problems, define MVPs, and balance user value with business goals
- Collaborate with internal Engineering and external partners to ensure designs are technically feasible and data-accurate
- Advocate for user-centered design within a regulated, risk-aware banking environment
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- Deep understanding of interaction design for both enterprise tools and consumer-facing products
- Experience designing for enterprise, fintech, or regulated environments
- Comfort translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear product direction
- Ability to move fluidly between strategy and pixels—setting vision and designing key workflows
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional partners
- Familiarity with modern design tools and prototyping methods (e.g., Figma, prototyping libraries, experimentation)
- Fluency in research methods, from product and feature validation through usability testing
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product design, with experience leading complex, data-rich products
- Degree in Design (Interaction, Graphic, Product), HCI, or related field a plus
- Experience working within a large, regulated enterprise
- Ability to lead workshops with business, design, and engineering partners
Additional optional requirements
- Experience designing wealth management applications
- Experience collaborating with AI/ML teams on production systems
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for interfaces and data visualization
