The EVP, GCD Regional Lead NA is responsible for client relationships with State Street's largest and most strategic global clients headquartered in North America. This role reports to the EVP, Head of GCD. This managerial and client relationship role directly oversees Client Executives, Global Relationship Managers, Global Client Operations Officers and Client Analysts in North America. This executive will leverage the support teams within Investment Services to create a client-centric coverage model and deliver an industry leading "One State Street" experience to State Street’s most complex global clients. He/She will demonstrate a client-obsessed mentality and engage the organization in managing client relations as well as ensuring recurring revenue, renewals, and profit.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide transformational leadership and increase the capability of the organization to successfully sell in an evolving market and to highly demanding clients
  • Embed a culture of net new revenue growth into relationship management. Success for the firm in this role will be measured not only on retention, but more importantly growing wallet share across all geographies and products we offer
  • Support the overall net revenue growth, wallet share, and margin growth of State Street in support of the executive team's commitments to the Board of Directors and investment community
  • Champion a culture of exceptional client service for our top clients, ensuring proactive oversight and timely remediation of client issues.
  • Address talent to ensure we have top performers aligned to our most important relationships in a culture of partnership, accountability and growth
  • Manage talent development and establish an agile work environment inclusive of ensuring that appropriate succession benches are in place for critical roles
  • Integrate GCD into the broader client management organization leveraging common administrative support and talent growing from the rest of the client portfolios
  • Partner with all divisions across the organization (Global Marketing, Finance, COO, SSIM, Markets, Alpha, Wealth) to establish the tools and systems required to successfully grow the revenue and market share of our global clients
  • Contribute to success with our top global accounts and drive a culture of successful account management, including the nurturing of executive relationships
  • Implement and understand key performance indicators, both operational and financial, and hold people accountable for results
  • Develop, communicate and implement effective growth, transformation and long-term business goals
  • Establish effective market feedback mechanisms from the global sales organization to inform product improvement or new business opportunities
  • Possess the global business acumen necessary to navigate expanding organization and changing regulatory landscape

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in sales and relationship management leadership within a highly respected financial services or other multi-product enterprise technology organizations
  • The ideal candidate for this position must have previous C Suite client and general management experience and a proven track record for effective team management and results-driven leadership. This individual must be hands-on and able to shift from formulating strategy to implementing and executing operational plans.
  • Understands State Street's industry and client base, while also awareness of global technology trends and how to apply those to support digital transformation.
  • This leader will be a relentless driver of continuous, metric-based net new revenue, performance and productivity improvement.
  • An outstanding team and people developer, he/she will be passionate about client advocacy and will be an inspirational leader in front of clients and colleagues alike.

Salary Range:

$300,000 - $412,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
