What you will be responsible for
- Lead the end-to-end planning and management of a small to medium project or a component of a large project
- Under direct supervision, plan, organize, and control the activities of cross-functional project teams
- Develop and maintain an end-to-end project plan
- Coordinate project scope control
- Coordinate project staffing
- Coordinate overall project communications, risks, and issues resolution
- Coordinate project tracking and reporting
- Coordinate on time delivery
- Coordinate communication with sponsors and management concerning the project status and issues
- Clearly communicate both verbally and in written format
- Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitate a collaborative solution
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management discipline, tools, and reporting
What we value:
- 5+ years’ experience in project management and/or process improvement ideally in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated success as a project manager in global initiatives across multiple teams.
- Independent, strategic thinker with an understanding of banking and/or financial services.
- Ability to operate strategically with a global mindset
- Strong organizational awareness with ability to facilitate and resolve conflicts; and risk optimized decisions under time pressure.
- Demonstrated strong relationship management and communications/influencing skills across all levels of a global and complex organization;
- Strict attention to detail is required; and a propensity to drive issues toward resolution.
- Keen awareness and appreciation for teamwork and collaboration; this role will require the candidate to be adept/effective at interpersonal interactions in order to introduce and influence change within the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in PowerPoint; assimilate information for senior executives concisely and appropriately for the situation at hand.
Qualifications
- Recognized credentials or experience in the project management and/or process improvement
- Excellent skills with PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Scheduler or similar reporting, analytical, or scheduling applications
- Expertise with project management methodology and tools
- B.A. or B.S degree
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $140,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
