In this role, you will work with State Street teams across the globe to support premier investment management clients. As an Officer, you will have direct accountability for overseeing day-to-day transactional and trade operations, ensuring operational integrity, data accuracy, and high-quality client service in a fast paced and dynamic environment. This role requires independent judgment, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex issues across multiple stakeholders.

What you will be responsible for
As an Officer, you will:
Serve as a trusted subject matter expert within the business unit, leading the resolution of complex operational, client, and trade-related issues involving clients, custodians, brokers, counterparties, and internal teams.
Maintain ownership and oversight of comprehensive client data across trading platforms, and internal account records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Deliver high-quality client service through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and effective research and resolution of internal and external client inquiries, including appropriate escalation as needed.
Act as first escalation point for the Operations team by managing and resolving actions across all client types using approved systems and custodian platforms.
Prepare, review, validate, and approve standard and ad hoc client reporting, ensuring data integrity and alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
Provide oversight of daily transaction processing routines, ensuring adherence to established controls, procedures, and service level expectations.
Identify operational risks, process gaps, and efficiency opportunities, partnering with peers and leadership to optimize operating models and workflows.
Apply practical use cases of AI and automation tools to support business objectives, enhance data analysis, and streamline operational processes.
Support department wide initiatives, ad hoc projects, and strategic priorities as assigned by leadership.
What we value
Exposure to asset management, banking operations, or financial services environments.
Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, and formulas) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; trading platform experience and VBA, SQL, Python are a plus.
Ability to synthesize findings and insights into clear, well-organized summaries and client-ready materials.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to take direction, exercise independent judgment, problem-solve effectively, and deliver results with minimal oversight in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
Work Requirement
This role requires four (4) days per week working in the office.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $106,250 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
