The Business Analysis, VP position is a hands-on developer role responsible for designing, building, enhancing, and supporting business applications and automation solutions across AIS. This position combines technical delivery with business analysis and supports a portfolio of both legacy tools and modern Microsoft-based solutions. The role partners closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and user experience, including the practical use of Copilot and other AI capabilities in solution development. Responsibilities span the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through implementation, support, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft technologies and related tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Manage solutions through the full lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and apply Copilot and other AI capabilities to accelerate development, improve user experience, and enhance business processes while ensuring solutions remain accurate, practical, and aligned with enterprise controls.
- Support and enhance a mix of legacy tools and newer automation platforms, with a focus on reliability, usability, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues, respond to user inquiries, and recommend enhancements to applications, workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Maintain clear documentation, training materials, and support procedures, and ensure solutions align with applicable security, governance, and control requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on development experience with VBA/MS Access, SharePoint, Python, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and delivering technical solutions that improve efficiency, standardization, and user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to support and enhance existing tools while also developing new automation solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in application development, automation, business systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and related development tools.
- Knowledge of hedge funds, private equity, and related products, structures, fees, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Copilot, AI-assisted development, or related intelligent automation capabilities, including the ability to apply these tools responsibly within enterprise security and governance standards.
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $188,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
