Cloud Platform Engineer (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, MA): As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will: Be part of Cloud Platform Engineering for a technical domain or initiative, working with multiple scrum teams, engineering managers and architects to deliver a well-architected, principled technology platform; apply deep knowledge and hands on implementation experience on cloud Infrastructure and networking as well as hands on experience with systems administration/engineering, cloud networking, and scripting with Infrastructure As Code using ARM, Terraform; own the design/implementation/execution of the next gen cloud platform and design cloud platform solutions honoring cloud native principles; leverage hands on experience designing and engineering cloud services; design and deploy enterprise-scale solutions; Perform technology investigations to develop and maintain the knowledge base of current leading edge and developing technologies with the goal of using the knowledge to identify emerging business opportunities and in support of existing business programs; Be the liaison with project teams on cloud technologies and solutions; Communicate Architecture guidelines and technical details to technical and non-technical audiences; and Lead efforts of virtual teams, understand regional cultural considerations and form tight working relationships. Telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field plus 5 years of hands-on technology experience. Alternatively, will accept a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field plus 3 years of hands-on technology experience.
Must Have: Deep understanding of cloud technologies and services such as AWS or Microsoft Azure; Working experience implementing cloud Infrastructure solutions and cloud Networking; Working experience with highly segmented networks in public and private clouds; Working experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies; demonstrated solid communication, documentation and troubleshooting skills; demonstrated innovative approach to work, constantly looking to upgrade the system to more efficient and effective new technologies and processes; and proven strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the stated ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years or amount of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.)

Salary Range:
$175,053 - $210,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
