We are looking for a motivated individual to join our client service team looking after our Repo, Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage businesses. State Street’s presence in securities lending is long-standing. In that time, we have built a long and enviable list of clients, spanning the very top tier of asset owners, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign entities, and alternative clients. This will be an opportunity to join a new group within Markets Financing Solutions – Client Service. This individual will have a role to support our clients’ daily servicing needs in the financing products. As such, ensuring that our client-facing organization is operating smoothly and delivering for our clients is of paramount importance.

What you will be responsible for

As Financing Solutions Client Service Representative, you will:

  • Perform all necessary tasks to support client activity in Repo, Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage

  • Support the relationship managers and sales teams within Financing Solutions to create a seamless servicing model, including creation of presentations, improve reporting, and manage daily client activities

  • Work with key internal stakeholders to grow our existing relationships, optimize revenue and improve client satisfaction

  • Interact with clients to manage queries and escalate issues professionally and in a timely manner

  • Coordinate across Asset Services and other State Street divisions to support execution of strategic RFPs and pricing decisions, including driving change to improve these processes

  • Understand securities lending market dynamics, anticipate any potential client impact, engage with and manage clients accordingly.

  • Experience working with sales and operations teams to optimize revenue and client satisfaction

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Knowledge of short-term investment and financing markets.

  • Highly analytical who can innovate solutions and processes

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast – paced, front office environment

  • Ability to build dashboards using large datasets to identify themes, present talking points to clients, and optimise daily activities will be a distinct advantage.

Additional requirements

  • Clear and effective communication is essential – excellent speaking and writing skills are a must

  • Ability of foster strong internal and external relationships

  • Highly organized and strong analytical capability

  • Strong sense of client ownership and responsibility

  • Ability to drive growth

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically Excel

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $120,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
