Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced technology leader to drive the strategy, engineering, governance, and enterprise adoption of Software Quality Assurance and Testing platforms across the SDLC. The role is responsible for managing the quality engineering tool ecosystem, enabling automation at scale, and ensuring alignment with enterprise engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. This role requires not only managing but also hands on tasks which relate to infrastructure set up and cloud services (AWS and Azure), ensuring the reliability and performance of the systems.
This leader will serve as the strategic owner for QA and test automation platforms, partnering with application teams, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and vendors to deliver a modern, scalable, and efficient quality engineering capability.
What you will be responsible for
As a SDLC QA Tools Lead you will
- Define and execute the roadmap for enterprise quality engineering and test automation platforms.
Define and communicate the vision and roadmap for tool development, aligning with overall business goals. - Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of engineers and platform specialists.
- Assess and recommend automation tools that fit organizational needs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, developer, QA, and vendors to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to promote tool adoption.
- Provide thought leadership and technical guidance for users of automation tools for UI Testing, Performance Testing, like TOSCA, LoadRunner, etc.
- Lead initiatives to drive continuous automation and ensure best practices are followed.
- Manage the upgrade, maintenance and support of automation tools and cloud services which host the tools.
- Responsible to migrate all the tools to Public cloud – AWS or Azure
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automation tools.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information System, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in software development, QA, or automation roles, with a focus on tools management
- Established background in quality assurance, including testing methodologies and best practices.
In depth understanding of automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Tosca, Playwright, UFT, etc). - In depth understanding of performance testing platforms (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, etc.).
- Experience with operating in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $202,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
