Application Development/Maintenance (multiple positions)(State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, MA): Will serve as a senior developer across multiple Securities Finance Front Office Project and Data delivery initiatives. The position will analyze, design, and develop software applications to support the business unit. They will also control and/or provide solutions to single and/or multiple organizations with minimal management guidance. Specific duties of the position include: providing technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule; creating technical project plans and deliverables and monitoring task deadlines; providing technical subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complex issues; responsible for resolution, communication, and escalation of critical technical issues; preparing user and systems documentation as needed; identifying and recommending Industry best practices; designing and developing with minimum requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers and managers; and providing agile status notes on day-to-day project tasks.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field; plus 5 years of relevant experience.

Must have the following: proven hands-on experience in .NET, WPF, HTML, and JSON; proven experience in ReactJS and HTML5; demonstrated experience in cloud-based technologies; demonstrated experience in Tomcat or another J2EE application server, Oracle/Exadata, ClearCase/SVN, MQ, Perl, Scripting languages and/or other open-source technologies; demonstrated experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, and ETL; proven end-to-end understanding of software architecture, design, development, and implementation; demonstrated experience using Scrum, Agile modelling, and adaptive software development; proven experience with continuous integration and build process, test automation, and deployment; proven ability to apply knowledge and skills to a range of standard and moderately complex activities; proven verbal and written communication skills; and demonstrated experience writing, and reviewing technology documents including user guides. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking no specific number of years of experience, and all experience can be gained concurrently.)

Salary Range:

$150,197 - $175,000 Annual
