Senior Quality Assurance Leader (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts): The Senior Quality Assurance Leader will act as an essential link in the project development life cycle and will work closely with the Project Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, developers, Business Analysts and other project team members. Specific duties include: managing scheduling to ensure efficient and effective product testing; identifying and reporting risks to project schedule and product quality and proposing new methods to control and/or mitigate risks; creating comprehensive test plans with well defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications documents; executing software testing to include functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing; recording and maintaining automated test script libraries for functional regression testing for assigned applications; documenting software defects in an issue tracking system and proactively communicating issues with developers and other project team members; participating in business requirements and functional specifications reviews early in the software development life cycle process; generating effective status and progress reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and project team members; and providing testing leadership for the projects. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; plus 5 years of experience in software testing in a process driven technology environment. Alternatively, Master’s degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; plus 3 years of experience in software testing in a process driven technology environment.

Total experience above must include the following: 3 years of experience in Middle Office business line, demonstrating functional knowledge including: Record Keeping System, Golden Gate, Derivative Systems, Performance Data Systems, Security Analytics, Asset Control, Information Delivery (reporting). Must also have the following: demonstrated financial software testing experience; solid SQL/Database skills, including SQL Server, Snowflake, and/or Oracle; demonstrated experience with Data Warehouse/Data Marts; proven knowledge of industry standard best practices as related to software testing; demonstrated experience in all phases of software application design, development and testing; demonstrated experience in creating test cases, scripts, use of automated test tools, testing client/server applications; demonstrated ability to translate from business requirements to technical testing solutions; demonstrated experience with full cycle testing including functional testing, system testing, integration testing, performance and stress testing; solid written and verbal communication skills; proven partnership and relationship building skills; and solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
