Why this role is important to us

We are looking for an experienced leader to head up our Marketing Operations team to enable the transformation of a core capability for the firm, Marketing and Communications

ensure we have excellent management of budgets, human capital and risk management globally. In this role, you will proactively manage the global marketing budget allocations, payments, onboard new hires and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered too. You will lead to help manage and drive global standards across all business units. You will be responsible for continual improvements and automation to help drive productivity, operational efficiency and reduce spend. You will partner with other marketing teams, finance, IT, audit, analytics, compliance and legal teams across the business to manage activity that crosses functional areas. This function requires excellent organization, attention to detail, global strategic thinking, excellent financial acumen, deep awareness of legal and compliance requirements that impact marketing in B2B financial services and strong communication and presentation skills.

This role will report to the SVP, Head of Digital Marketing and Operations, and lead a team of marketing professionals in Boston and Bangalore.

What you will be responsible for

As Head of Marketing Operations, MD, you will

  • Management and allocation of marketing budgets on behalf of the global CMO
  • Day to day management of spend and vendor payments
  • Ensuring that all teams effectively spend their budgets and are driving measurable business results
  • Management reporting
  • Ensuring compliance to all legal, compliance and internal risk procedures e.g. FLOD
  • Management reporting on open and closed risk items and compliance breaches
  • Team communication
  • Project management
  • Ensuring the global priorities for marketing and their business cases are well managed

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 15+ years in strategic marketing and communications with B to B experience in a publicly traded company and regulated industry highly desirable
  • Institutional financial services experience is preferred

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
