Who we are looking for

State Street is leading a global initiative to converge multiple Integrated Risk Management (IRM) platforms into one best-in-class solution leveraging the Archer IRM product suite. We are seeking an experienced IRM professional to join the Business Risk Management team to lead the business architecture and design of one or more of the core IRM Solution areas, Regulatory and Compliance Management, Third Party Risk, Enterprise and Operational Risk, Resiliency, Incident Management, Issues Management, Controls Assurance.

The IRM Business Solutions Lead will play a pivotal role as a liaison across a broad set of cross functional stakeholders to solve complex business problems in partnership with Global Technology. The candidate has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with creativity and self-motivation to deliver quality solutions to meet business needs. An in depth understanding of the Archer IRM product suite and business domain expertise in one or more of the IRM solution areas will help the candidate succeed in this role.

The responsibilities of this role include

As an IRM Business Solutions Lead you will

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Business Unit Program Sponsors as it relates to onboarding new IRM use cases and/or new functionality to the integrated solution(s)

  • Through business solution design, identify and promote opportunities to standardize, reuse, and optimize IRM applications, processes and data across Business Units and programs

  • Collaborate amongst peer IRM solution leads to identify optimal integration points between Archer IRM solutions in order to gain operational efficiencies amongst cross-functional teams

  • Promote adherence to IRM best practices and design principles and participate in regular Design Review Board sessions

  • Drive organizational focus by facilitating discussions and performing internal communications, as appropriate for various stakeholder groups using multiple communication channels

  • Provide executive communication, reporting and metrics to key stakeholders and Business Unit Program Sponsors

  • Lead special projects and support other IRM initiatives and deliverables to drive Risk Excellence goals and objectives

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years of experience in IRM solutions and implementations (Archer Certified Consultant desired)

  • Formal project management training and certifications (e.g., PMP)

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Project, Visio)

  • Experience in risk management, compliance and/or internal controls preferred

  • Proven interpersonal, communication, development and management skills

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
