Senior Product Specialist (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Burlington, MA): Will work as a member of a Scrum team leading the overall quality planning and execution for one of Charles River’s financial software products. The individual in this position will provide support and assistance to customers, team members, and other teams. Specific duties of the position include: working closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, developers, business analysts, and other project team members to assist in carrying out the software quality responsibilities of the Scrum team; creating comprehensive test plans with well defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications documents; executing manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests; independently creating and maintaining automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing; documenting software defects in the issue tracking system and proactively communicating issues with developers and other project team members; providing testing leadership by identifying opportunities for improvement in the Scrum team’s QA methodology; adhering to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product delivery; actively participating in the Agile software development process by adhering to the CRD Scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives; participating in group testing activities as needed; guiding and mentoring junior staff in proper creation and planning of test processes; using test cases, scripts, and automated test tools for verifying requirements on multi-tier applications; translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test plans; and utilizing knowledge of Agile development methodology in the performance of assigned job duties. Hybrid-remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum requirements are: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related field; plus 6 years in any occupation providing relevant experience. Alternatively, Master’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related field; plus 3 years in any occupation providing relevant experience.

Must have: demonstrated solid ability to work with an Agile development methodology; demonstrated solid ability translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test plans; demonstrated ability to come up with automated tests that would verify results generated by an investment management product; demonstrated experience implementing automation tests using Silk4Net, API testing tools and shell scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Bash; and demonstrated experience in analyzing automation results and documenting product defects. Salary Range:

$130,021 - $150,000 Annual
