The Product Owner – Insights Platform (Vice President) will be a member of the Insights product team and will assist in designing, developing, and deploying digital analytics and research product for Global Markets’ client facing research portal, Insights. The Insights team is part of State Street Associates (SSA), a unique partnership between State Street and thought leaders in academic finance, headquartered in Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA. In collaboration with our academic partners, we produce original research that is frequently published in academic and practitioner journals. This ever-expanding body of work drives our industry leading suite of multi-asset data products in areas such as asset flow and positioning, inflation, and market risk. Global Markets Research has recently been voted #1 in research by Euromoney’s 2023 industry survey. Our clients include the world’s largest and most sophisticated global asset managers and institutional investors.

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Markets (SSGM). When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to the SSGM business unit. As our investment research and trading arm, SSGM’s number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As a Product Owner, Vice President you will
Work with senior researchers, market strategists, technologists, and designers to help bring our research to life within our client-facing research portal, Insights.
Manage the digital product development lifecycle, defining from inception how our product looks, works, and feels and delivering this vision to clients.
Drive and initiate progress (often cross-functional) on many concurrent and complex projects at various points in the development lifecycle.
Manage our product pipeline and backlog
Create product requirements and product specifications
Help foster better outcomes for our clients by deeply understanding our value proposition and helping tracking our product’s uptake and efficacy over time for different client segments.

Passion for building exceptional products (SaaS portal for desktop and iOS mobile app)
Interest in developing a career in sell-side research supporting one of the largest FX trading businesses in the world
Education & Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience and MBA or advanced degree in quantitative field preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Experience developing and deploying digital products
Numeracy and fluency in programming concepts (e.g. effectively interface with our quants and engineers)
Understanding of financial markets a plus

Salary Range:
$200,000 - $200,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
