Who we are looking for

State Street is undergoing a multi-year transformation program to converge multiple Integrated Risk Management (IRM) platforms into one best-in-class solution leveraging the RSA Archer IRM product suite. We are seeking a qualified individual to support the governance and management of data residing within the platform and associated Data warehouse.

The Archer IRM Data Management Specialist will be responsible for platform level data stewardship as defined by Corporate Data Governance Policy for which IRM has a custodial responsibility. This role reports into the Enterprise Integrated Risk Management Program within State Street’s Business Risk Management organization. The IRM Archer Data Management Specialist will liaison across a broad set of cross functional stakeholders to solve complex business problems in partnership and with Global Technology Services.

What you will be responsible for

As the IRM Data Management Specialist, Assistant Vice President you will;

  • Act as Archer IRM Platform Data Steward and facilitate cross business data stewardship responsibilities and communication

  • Support the ongoing implementation of the Data Management Strategy for the Archer IRM application, ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policy and standards and implement standard operating procedures for metadata management, data lineage, data quality, and data stewardship across the application.

  • Implement or ensure provider data quality controls, monitor data quality processes, identify data quality issue patterns and manage data quality remediation plans within the Archer IRM application and supporting data warehouse in conjunction with associated business Data Stewards and application data providers.

  • Oversee initiatives impacting the data standards and structures.

  • Evaluating the design, selection and implementation of database impacting changes by aligning them with business requirements and design standards

  • Coordinate identified/assigned IRM objectives with program delivery teams across the Business and Global Technology to ensure business objectives are achieved with sufficient solution delivery transparency and oversight

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Management concepts, principles and practices including data models, database structures, enterprise data catalogs, and data quality controls.

  • Proven ability to assess and evaluate data workflow processes and perform root cause analysis leading to resolution of data quality issues.

  • Experience in Visualization/Business Intelligence tools ( i.e., Tableau, Spotfire, Cognos, Power BI)

  • Experience with general data querying on database management systems (joins, general functions for aggregation and data set preparation)

  • Understanding of DataStage and Other Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) tools

  • Advanced MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio skills

  • Experience with RSA Archer solution implementations a plus

  • Python, Java, C or comparable language experience a plus

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
