Who we are looking for

Senior hands-on Technology Business leader with 15+ years of experience in application development for large and complex financial applications. The candidate needs to have a very good understanding of financial domain, especially of Derivatives. This is a critical position with a significant impact on the business. The candidate will work closely with senior business and IT leaders globally.

What you will be responsible for

As Head of Derivatives Platform you will

  • Management of a global team of software development and QA engineers.

  • Ownership and accountability for Derivatives application platform, vendor interactions, upstream and downstream integrations and successful client rollouts

  • Oversight and project estimation and delivery of projects on time and on budget

  • Building strong partnership with technology & business leaders and peers

  • Work closely with the Product Owners and other stakeholders on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.

  • Support production system to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement of the platform

  • Advocate and implement best practices and improved team processes

  • Provide expert level troubleshooting on large, mission critical project implementations.

  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Finance, Computer Science or equivalent field

  • 15+ years of experience with designing and implementing financial applications

Salary Range:

$175,000 - $287,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
